Your Ranch
Plant crops and raise livestock.
Your Farmhouse
| Name | Description |

| Diary | Saves your game and allows you to start the next day. |
| Calendar | Shows the current date and day of the week. |
| Log Book | Shows your current money, the number of cows and chickens you own, the name of your dog, and the name of your horse. |
| Television | Shows the weather for the next day. If there is a festival the next day, it will mention that. The television only has one channel. |
| Fireplace | The fireplace will automatically start burning during fall & winter. Doesn't serve any purpose. |
| Clock | Only available when you upgrade your house by the end of the first summer. Shows the time when you press Select. |
| Turtle Shell | One of the prizes you get for winning the Egg Festival in fall. Gives you 80 happiness points. |
Cow Barn
Holds a maximum of 12 cows.

Chicken Coop
Holds a maximum of 12 chickens.

| Silo | Fodder is automatically stored here. The sign outside your silo shows the current amount of fodder. |
| Pond | Fills your watering can. |
| Stable | For your horse. |
| "Secret Garden" | Each time you find one of the 10 Power Berries, a flower will bloom here. |
Crossroads
Links the three areas of the game. The east leads to your ranch, the north leads to the mountains, and the west leads to the village. There is only a singular chicken statue here. You can break it with your hammer but it will repair itself once you exit the screen and come back. It takes one in-game hour each time you enter or exit the crossroads.
Mountain
The carpenters live here. You can also catch fish, pick fruit and flowers, chop wood, and relax in the hot spring. The tree stumps and forageable items will re-generate each time you enter the mountains.

Upgrade your house.

- Each expansion takes three days to build.
- If you upgrade your house to the Deluxe Log Cabin by the end of the first summer, the carpenter will give you the clock.
Fishing Pond
Ask the fisherman to borrow his fishing rod and catch fish here. Use Y next to the pond and wait for a fish to bite. Sometimes you may catch garbage like boots and tin cans. You can only fish before 5:00 pm during spring, summer, and fall. You cannot fish in winter.
Mountain Cave
Collect herbs.
Goddess' Spring
The Harvest Goddess lives here. Only accessible after the earthquake in your first winter.
Hot Spring
Restores your stamina. The hot spring will recover 20 stamina each time you go in it. You do not have to stay in it for a certain amount of time, you can just jump in and out until your stamina is fully recovered.
Mountain Summit
You can see a nice view here. Some festivals will also take place here. This area will be closed off on rainy and snowy days.

The peddler will come here every Sunday on a sunny day. You can sell items to him.

Sells seeds and flowers. There won't be anything for sale during fall or winter.

Church
Services are held every Sunday. Most of the people from the village attend.
Mayor's House
The Mayor, the Mayor's Wife, and their daughter Maria live here. In front of the house is a mailbox where you can read fliers that will occasionally come in.
Public Square
A lot of festivals are held here. People also come here to socialize and hang out.
Bar
Open every night except Sunday.
Restaurant
Sells cake. You can choose to eat it for some stamina recovery or give it to a girl as a gift.

Livestock Store
Speak to the livestock dealer over the counter to buy or sell livestock.
If you buy a cow, the livestock dealer will bring it for you to your ranch. If you buy a chicken, the chicken will be placed behind the livestock store and you will have to carry it to your ranch. You cannot buy livestock on rainy or snowy days.
Each animal you want to buy requires 16 squares of grass planted per animal. This includes any animals you already own, including chicks and baby cows. For example, if you want to buy a cow, and you already have 2 chickens and 1 chick, you will need 64 squares of grass (about 8 bags). 48 squares for the animals you have, and another 16 for the cow you want to buy.
